David Rotenburger What an incredible album of dreamy and uplifting retrowave that reminds me of this genre's beginning! Fantastic new Canadian synthwave that comes highly recommended by me! Favorite track: Wage Slavery (Clocking In).

about

BRIEF
Dear Sara is a collection of retrowave music, influenced by synthesiser-heavy film soundtracks from the ‘80s and the resurgence and evolution of synthwave music from the 2000s and onward.

BACKGROUND
About unrequited love for Sara.

The album is divided into Side A and Side B. The sides are split between Life On Video and Vamos Juntos. Check out the album on YouTube to see how they line up: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyfzUDzpUJo

Any money earned from this album goes to Winnipeg's Mutual Aid Society. I'm not affiliated with them. Bandcamp takes a 15% cut of sales, while PayPal/credit card varies, but their highest cut has been $1. To avoid paying these middleman fees (and make sure most of your money goes to the actual cause), please send an e-transfer directly (bank or PayPal) to masywg at gmail dot com, then message me for an album download code (or just pick up your own copy for $0).

ALBUM ART
Album download includes three variations of the cover art at full, 3000x1400 resolution. The digital painting is an original, painted exclusively for this album.

THANKS
Many thanks to Allison and Luke for their help, feedback, and encouragement at various points of this long overdue project. The album wouldn't have turned out as well as it did without them.

Also, a big thank you to the album's supporters, including but not limited to: David for his kind comment and recommendation, Bad Gardening Advice for his creative review (search for him and his website!), and everyone (following or not) who has streamed, shared, and bought this album.
